Introduction

A wine born out of a friendship between the Filliatreau and the Astaburaga families, which began in 1990. Paul Filliatreau already had in mind to make Chilean wine, their collaboration materialized in 2014. The vineyards of the Astaburaga family are located in the famous Curico Valley at about 200 km south of the capital Santiago, Chile.

Vines and Terroir

The Cheliean climate is particulary favorable for vineyards : stable temperatures from spring to autumn, light rainfall and a freshness brought by the Pacific Ocean for rich wines but with crunch and freshness.

Harvest and vinification

100% manual harvest assemblages are made in the Astaburaga cellars. The wine are prepared with the greatest care to be transported in the best conditions, then bottled at Chaintre, in the heart of the historical vineyard of the Filliatreau family.

Aromas and flavors

Powerful and long finish, exotic aromas brought by the famous Carmenère grape, is a cuvée that can be tasted like a Loire red wine. The spicy aromas pepper, black cherry just ripe and gooseberries will make you travel ! To drink in its youth, with keeping potential from 3 to 5 years.
